About Us
We are a fourth generation family farm, steeped in tradition, who want to share our love of the land and animals we care for with our guests.
Alvis Farms is a traditional commercial dairy and grain farm located in the rolling hills of central Virginia. When one of our family members was deciding where to hold her wedding, the family farm seemed like the perfect setting with the iconic barns, holstein cows and hay bales as a back drop.
Even though the wedding was delayed by thunderstorms, alas the skies cleared and the vows were given. It turned out to be the most picturesque wedding they could have hoped for.
Following the August wedding in 2016 friends and colleagues encouraged us in our journey to host events and become a part of so many special memories for other families.
Giving back to others is a strong family value and this is an exciting opportunity that we hope to share with you!
